Not having reading the book, I was some what skeptical about the movie contract. Why would anyone want to see a movie about a boy stuck on a boat, was beyond me. However, after further reading into the book and discovering what a complex tale it actually was, I became intrigued to see how they would do it. The trailer, below, has also made me think that this wasn't such a bad idea after all.
Doesn't it look like a magical movie? I'd definitely want to see it and check out the story. As with most book-to-movie scripts, I will definitely try to pick up the novel before watching this on November 21st, 2012, when it's slated to hit theaters.

I have the book, but was never interested in reading it. Could also be the fact that Lilly told me she tried and it didn't get her attention. This trailer has me thinking other wise though.
