Now who doesn't love a classic bodega bacon, egg, and cheese in the morning? I know this was the staple breakfast sandwich that got me through High School in Harlem and my beginning years of College downtown. There's no way one can make it better, right?
That's what I thought too, until I stumbled across Eater's first ever Bodega Week. Essentially, it's a five day series of posts highlighting and paying tribute to the magical corner stores that dot many a New York City streets. My favorite showcase being Tyler Kord's brilliant Mongolian Egg Sandwich which you may see below.
