Now here's something I never thought I would see happen. 21 Jump Street is getting a remake! Not only a remake, but a movie remake. That's pretty dope. While I don't think it will hold anything to the classic show from back in the day, I do think it stands a chance of at least being enjoyable. Check out the trailer below.
See what I mean? It definitely isn't Deep's 21 Jump Street but it does look funny. Hopefully Hill and crew won't disappoint. Look for it in March 2012. Should be interesting.

And Yet Another One
Another Spidey movie. Another superhero reboot. When will these studios learn? I mean, sure, they can keep putting movies out and people will keep going to see them, but come on. Let's try to get it right the first time. Now, originally, I was so annoyed by the last Spider-man movie that I had decided I didn't care for a reboot or anything concerning Spidey for that matter. They did such a poor job with it that I just gave up on them.
However, this trailer has given me second thoughts. The camera work is nice, the graphics are sweet, the suit is looking good again, and the clear changes in plot have me interested. I wonder who the villain will be in this one. Any ideas/news? Anyway, check it out.
What do you think? I'm still a little skeptical, but they are starting to win me over. Almost.

The Three Stooges
Yet another remake. Has hollywood officially run out of ideas? While it does look funny, I'm not sure how big of a hit this one will turn out to be. Check out the trailer.
While Kate Upton and a few other hotties are sure to draw a crowd, I don't know how funny this one will actually be. Cast looks good, but I just hope they can really nail the Stooges comedy. From the looks of it, this will definitely be a major hit or miss, what do you all think?

They're Coming Together...
May 2012. I can't wait. Finally, The Avengers will be hitting theaters near you! Here's the trailer for what's sure to be one of the top blockbusters of 2012.
I don't know about you, but I hate it when they change actors (i.e. Eric Bana and Rhodey from Iron Man). I understand people get greedy and have issues working with one another, but damnit! It screws with the entire storyline, don't you think? I for one enjoy seeing a series start and end with the same people, but guess that's too difficult now with all the prima donnas out there. Sad. Anyway, this movie looks like it will be fantastic and I, for one, can't wait until May. What about you?
Peace, -El Russo

The End Is Near
Summer 2012 to be exact. The Dark Knight Rises will finally be seeing daylight and I'm sure we're all in for some great surprises. I'm not sure any villain will EVER top the amazing performance by Heath in The Dark Knight but I'm excited for what's to come.
Bane is one character that I don't see having as much psychological fun with the audience, but I'm sure he'll be a brute. Check out the new poster they released showing just that.
How awesome is that? Still not convinced? Well check out this new teaser they put out.
"THE EPIC CONCLUSION TO THE DARK KNIGHT LEGEND" - Boy, I sure how they don't disappoint. I'm also kind of sad it will be ending, but hope it's a strong finish that will fit well with the other two movies. What do you all think about the ending? Let me know. I wonder how people feel about it being Bane and not another one of the many foes they could have picked. Weigh in below! -El Russo

Better With Age
What's
going on everybody? Hope you're all doing good and just about ready for the
Holidays. Now remember, don't leave anything for last minute, because during
this season things get a little nutty out there. Anyway, back to what I
originally wanted to share with you all.
Remember
that awesome band I told you about way back in 2008 called Viva Mayday? Well, I'm here to tell you about
them again! Their back (although they never left) and are better then ever!
After a few whirlwind months full of shows along side M.O.P., Dead Prez, and
Dawn Penn, they are finally gearing up to release their debut full-length album
entitled "Consuela" that will soon be released.
The young
lads, Gian and Jafe, have been working diligently and endlessly since 2008,
making sure the band continued to progress and succeed in the musical syndicate
of NYC. For this holiday season the band has put out a double-sided single and
made it available for free on Bandcamp, and have also
made "Monster" available for $.99 on iTunes. Make
sure to go support!
After checking out both singles on Bandcamp, I must
say, I can't wait for this album! Jafe's vocals have definitely matured and been honed in. The band's unique sound is just as present as ever, if not
more so now. With these being just the first two singles released, I can only imagine the magic of the others. Kudos to you gentlemen working on your craft and refining your skills so very well. It shows. And we love it. Keep up the great work guys, I’m sure the album won’t disappoint.
Peace,
-El Russo
