Who doesn't love Transformers? This awesome info-graphic represents most of the Autobots we loved watching in the cartoon series from back in the day. Check it out!
May 26th, 2011 can NOT come soon enough! The first Hangover was hilarious and I can't wait to see what shenanigans the Wolfpack will get into this time around. I'm pretty sure I'll be catching this with a group of friends in hopes of taking over the theater and enjoying it all together. Check out the trailer below:
What do you all think? Who's down to go check it out?!
Two MAJOR superhero flicks will be released in July and I cannot wait!
First off, we have the newest installment of Transformers hitting a theater near you on July 1st, 2011, titled Transformers: Dark of the Moon. Although I hate it when they make major cast changes in an installment, I'm still excited about this one. I'm sure Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, the Victoria Secret model replacing Megan Fox, is going to be amazingly beautiful as usual, but I just hope they make the change believable. Guess we'll have to wait and see. Although the movie is sure to be bad ass regardless. Check out the trailer for it below.
Secondly, we have the first ever Captain America: The First Avenger movie to hit theaters this July 22nd, 2011. The first full length trailer went viral today and I CAN'T WAIT FOR IT! Check out the trailer and tell me what you think of it. Did this trailer sell you the flick?
Lastly, we have a movie that looks eerily similar to No Strings Attached, but I'm still interested in checking it out none-the-less. Mila Kunis' hotness and sex appeal definitely overrides Justin Timberlake's main character role in Friends With Benefits also being released on July 22nd, 2011. The title is pretty straight forward, so there isn't much more to write. Check out the trailer and tell me what you think.
So that about wraps up my July picks. Any suggestions on your end?
This is definitely the year for superhero flicks! First up on June 3rd we have X-Men: First Class hitting theaters. While I personally enjoyed the last X-Men trilogy, I'm also looking forward to this reboot. Especially after seeing this first trailer for it - I know it will be a must see. The writers decided to take us back in time to the 'First Class' of the X-Men to shed light on how it all started. Check the trailer out below.
Also, the first ever The Green Lantern movie will be released in June! June 17th, to be exact, is the release date for this upcoming, sure-to-be, action packed flick about The Green Lantern. With so many storylines and different possibilities they had for this movie, I'm interested to see what they finally created. Hopefully it's a good one. Check out the trailer below and tell me what you think!
Can't lie, it has caught my attention. Let's see if it can keep it throughout the actual movie.
Although I'm not one for fighting games, one of my all-time favorite games was Mortal Kombat! While I didn't bother getting the last title that added superheros to the mix, I'm really excited about the new release coming out in April '11. This latest revival will not add superhero guest and will return to its bloody and fatality origins! In the video below, creative dir. Ed Boon gives Adam Sessler of G4 a preview of the upcoming release's new tag team feature, old characters, and return to 2D gameplay.
I'm not exactly sure how this film skipped my radar before, but I just wanted to make sure you all knew about it! Paul, hitting a theater near you today, is about an Alien who is apparently escaping the government's grasp to try and get home. While on the lamb, he runs into the unlikely duo of Graeme Willy and Clive Gollings, who are two English comic book nerds in the USA taking a roadtrip of all the famous UFO hot-spots. From all the trailers I've seen, this movie looks like it will definitely be hilarious and worth the ticket price. So if you're going to the theaters this weekend, I'd put my money on Paul. Check the trailer out below and tell me what you think!
That's right! Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides and Kung Fu Panda 2 will be hitting a theater near you on May 20th and May 26th, respectively! Now, I don't know about you, but I LOVE the Pirates series and the first Kung Fu Panda movies. I think they are hilarious and enjoyable by all ages.
In On Stranger Tides we can see that Captain Jack is up to his old ways; trying to find the fountain of youth, but running into all sorts of trouble while on the mission. I'm sure we'll get tons of laugh from all his shenanigans and simply can't wait until it hits theaters! Similarly, Kung Fu Panda 2 still looks great. I'm sure we'll see Po kicking some major butt, all the while keeping us laughing throughout the entire film. I'm really looking forward to these two flicks and below you will find both of their trailers.
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides
Release Date: May 20, 2011
Sticking with last week's Monday's Comedy, this week I'm bringing you all another two videos of nontraditional music. I came across these two videos thanks to a few friends who shared them and knew I just had to share it on here. Both videos are by Eklips, who is apparently a French beatbox phenomenon who is extremely well known for his talents and you'll see why below.
And if that first video wasn't enough for you, check out the four minute look at music's evolution over the years done by Eklips below!
