Music, REAL music, is beautiful. Simply wonderful and pleasing to the ear. If there's one thing I know and agree with is that there is music all around us, constantly, on a daily basis. This is why I'm dedicating this Monday's Comedy to unconventional music. An aunt sent me this video a while back and I knew I just had to share it with all of you. Check it out:
Also, check out The Muppets' very own Swedish Chef creating great music and throwing down in the kitchen at the same time.
Well, hope you enjoyed this post and keep your eye out for another one coming later today. Remember, music is all around you, all you have to do is listen.
This. Is. INSANE! I came across this video thanks to the team over at Heavy and knew I just had to post it. These climbers in Moab, UT connected a bunch of lines together over the canyons and made the highest, awesomest, and scariest rope swings I've ever seen! Check out the video below, you'll see what I mean!
Now I don't know about you, but I'd be scared straight if I was there. Just watching the video and viewing their POV sections gave me an arrhythmia! Would you take the jump? I'd probably need a push first.
Hopefully you are all enjoying your Monday off. Even though the "Monday's Comedy" post series is supposed to make your Monday-work day better, I decided to go ahead and post it today anyway. This is one video you'll enjoy and keep coming back to see over and over. Why?
Because there's nothing like watching Breaking News fails. It's hilarious when we see/hear these news anchors slip up and quickly try to recover from their mistakes. Check out the video below.
Continue enjoying your day off! Make sure to check out my other post coming soon!
I'm really looking forward to April this year. Not only because it is my birth month, but because of two great looking releases happening this year in April!
First up, we have Water for Elephants being released April 22nd. Based on the novel by Sara Gruen about a 90 year old man reminiscing about his life in the Benzini Brothers Most Spectacular Show on Earth circus and the bond he developed with a lovely young lady and an untrainable elephant. Still not intrigued? Check out the trailer below:
Secondly, we have Fast & Furious 5!!! Now, this series should need no introduction, so I'll just let the Super Bowl trailer speak for itself. Check it out:
Fast 5 is set to release on April 29th and I can't wait!
There are three movies that I definitely want to catch. First up is Take Me Home Tonight scheduled to hit your area March 4th. This flick has caught my attention for several reasons; 1) it takes place in the year of my birth (so I'd love to see what people were doing then). 2) I love new movies that take us back to the "old-school" and let us relive those times (even if we didn't live them out originally). Lastly, 3) because I wish I could have lived back in the day, so these movies are the only access I have to coming remotely close to fulfilling that wish. Other then that, it looks like a movie that stays true to the time period and seems promising from the trailer. I sure hope it doesn't disappoint, but I have a feeling this will be worth the theater visit (so go see it Shaki!). Here's the red band trailer in case you need more convincing.
Then, we also have the funny looking cartoon Rango hitting theaters on the same day. While I'd go see Take Me Home Tonight on opening day, Rango looks like it is also worth another trip to the theaters that weekend. Perhaps catch an early Saturday or Sunday viewing. I think you'll enjoy it. Check out the trailer for it below.
Now, this last movie caught my eye during one of the Superbowl spots. I hadn't heard of it before, but it has definitely grown on me and I CAN'T wait for it to hit theaters. Limitless, comes out March 18th and is about an interesting concept that I'm sure we would all jump on! Apparently it's about a pill or device that allows us (or the person taking/using it) to utilize their brain's full potential. Thus creating a 'perfect' version of themselves where they are extremely smart, wealthy, and full of power. Now who wouldn't be enticed by that? Don't lie to yourself. Check out the trailer!
That's March as of now. Get your tickets ready and make sure to go check these flicks out when they come out next month!
It is hard to find someone who isn't a fan of Family Guy these days. I am definitely no exception to the rule. One thing that I love about Family Guy is their repeated bits over several episodes, much like the ones below. I'm sure you all know about the word. Right? You have heard about the word! You haven't? What word you ask? Well...
Now do you know the word? Big news, that word, isn't it? I think so.
This last clip just goes to show you. Even after losing your memory, you should remember the word!
Well, I hope you all found these clips as funny as I did. When I first came across the word, I couldn't help but laugh. Now I hope we all know about the word...because you never know when I'll ask you about the word!
Now there's one thing I love during the Super Bowl, and that is the commercials! I enjoy the sport and competition on the field, but it goes without saying that I (and just about everyone else) enjoy the commercials that air during this special Sunday night event. Even though I wasn't able to see all of the commercials that aired this year, here are a few that I was able to come across and thought you all might like to see them again, or for the first time if you didn't catch them last night. Either way, enjoy, and please let me know of your favorite/least favorite commercial of yesterday.
This Jetta commercial is pretty funny and definitely a very lighthearted one.
Bridgestone definitely made me laugh with this one. Makes you wish you were cool with beavers, no?
Eminem's Brisk commercial was pretty funny indeed.
After saying he doesn't do commercials, we also see Eminem do one for Chrysler in the last quarter. I guess he did it for Detroit, his hometown.
Lastly, it wouldn't be a Super Bowl commercial post without the e-trade baby. I wonder how much longer they will keep making these. I just hope they keep making them good as they have been so far!
Well, hope these commercials made you smile, laugh, or at the very least chuckle.
Or at least that's what the newest Verizon Wireless iPhone 4 commercial is claiming. Check out the commercial below. We see the famous "Can you hear me now?" guy is there and definitely poking fun at AT&T. I sure hope Verizon works everything out for their iphone launch so that customers don't have complaints in the beginning days, because all of this anticipation is raising the bar for their expectations! Check it out and tell me what you think.
