This weekend, I'm willing to bet the budget of this film, that everybody will be hitting the theaters to check out The Social Network. For those of you who live under a rock and aren't aware of what I'm talking about, The Social Network is the unauthorized story of the beginning of facebook. Check out the original trailer for it below:
I would be lying to say I don't want to see it. I definitely want to check it out and see the 'story' behind the monster website we all make use of now. It's 'unauthorized' status also makes it that much more interesting. Makes me wonder why facebook didn't give permission for it...um...what is it that they don't want us to see? Let me know what you all think!
Now, if facebook doesn't float your boat and/or you could careless about the movie, then perhaps you might want to look at the trailer below. It's the trailer for the movie Case 39 that is a horror flick I think should do good and looks better then that other horror movie Let Me In that is also coming out. Well, check it out and you be the judge!
Also, here are the earnings at the box office for the last two weekends:
Sep. 24-26 #1 Movie was Wall Street 2 earning $19,011,188
Sep. 17-19 #1 Movie was The Town earning $23,808,032
*both of those where my picks for the weekend at the movies on those weekends ;-)

Bernese Mountain Dog
Meet the Bernese Mountain Dog. He/she is a large, strong, sturdy, and agile dog. This beautiful breed is known for its tricolor, water-resistant, coat of black, rust, and white. Their base color is black; with white on the chest, head, toes and tip of its bushy tail; while the rust is on the cheeks, a dot over each eye, on the side of their chest, on all four legs and underneath the tail (as you can see from these pictures). Aren't they beautiful??
Not only are these dogs beautiful, but they are very intelligent and easy to train as well. They are natural watchdogs, without being overly dominant, which makes them perfect to have around children. This breed actually loves children and are known to be friends for life. Like any other breed, they must be socialized well as puppies and trained firmly, but gently, as they are a sensitive breed. Due to this, they must also be kept around people and not simply put in a backyard or a kennel. They must also be taught who's the alpha of the pack, to avoid confusion and disobedience.
Overall, they are a beautiful, intelligent, and strong breed that was bred to work, so make sure you are able to give them enough exercise. They are also loyal, friendly, and obedient when trained and socialized correctly. I can't wait until I am able to own my own dog. What about you readers? What is your favorite breed?

An Inspirational History of...Dance!
Judson Laipply is a motivational speaker who combines humor, creativity, music, and dance into his presentations around the nation. He draws on his vast and diverse experiences to communicate and connect with people from all walks of life and help uplift their spirits and moods. He usually finishes his presentations with his, now famous, "The Evolution of Dance" skit! When I first came across these two videos, I knew I'd have to post them. Here are The Evolution of Dance Pt. 1 & 2 for your viewing pleasures, check them out:
The Evolution of Dance
The Evolution of Dance 2
I must say, Judson got some moves!!!
“I always tell people how much I love what I do for two simple reasons. One, because I get to meet and work with great people all over the country and am always amazed with the people I meet. And two, for the concept that I might just help to make someone else's life a little bit better. For me there is no greater reward." - Judson Laipply.

Weekend At The Movies - Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps
This weekend will be about nothing but GREED at the theaters! Make sure to go check out the new Wall Street flick coming out tomorrow. I'm sure to be hearing quotes from this movie on twitter for weeks.
"Someone reminded me I said greed is good. Now it seems it's legal." - Gordon Gekko
On another note, The Town, which I wrote about last week, was number one in theaters. GREAT movie and a definite must watch.

HILARIOUS Commercials!
I have always LOVED the E-Trade baby commercials because they never seem to fail. Those commercials are always witty and clever. Guaranteed to make you LOL is their new Time Out commercial, check it out:
Another bunch of commercials that never fails to make me laugh are the M&M ones. ESPECIALLY their new one below:
Well, I hope you were able to enjoy those commercials as much as I did! Two classics in my book!

Get Ready to Saddle Up!
![]() |
| This new seat design is shaped like a horse saddle. |
An Italian company has designed this new economy seat, named Skyrider, in order to reduce the legroom by another 25%! Meaning this seat would provide 23 inches of legroom, as opposed to the average 30 inches we get now. As if flights weren't already uncomfortable enough!
With these seats, one would feel like they were a cowboy sitting on a horse saddle due to it's peculiar upright position. The manufacturers feel that airlines will jump all over this concept for economic purposes. Airlines could reduce ticket prices, but would still maintain their profitability since they would be able to bunch more seats together in the cabin.
Apparently, some airlines have already expressed interested in these things. I, for one, hope they realize how ridiculous these things are and never pick them up! I mean come on! I'm 6'4" and barely fit in those damn seats now! Imagine if they switch to these darn things!

Fishermen's Grotto
Fishermen's Grotto was the first sit down restaurant in San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf. It was opened in 1935 by Mike Geraldi, who was an immigrant fisherman from Sicily. He opened the Grotto as a way to get his fresh catch to the locals, and four generations later, his family is still supplying the locals with fresh Italian-style seafood and stunting views of the Bay Area!
Unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to have a sit down meal here, but I did grab one of their delicious crab salad sandwiches to go! Now, I know there are plenty of places to get a crab salad sandwich in the Wharf, BUT Fishermen's Grotto's is definitely one of a kind. As I walked down the pier and looked at the other sandwiches that the tourist were all over, I noticed these sandwiches were plain crab meat on bread, rather bland to say the least. Anyway, I continued walking towards the recommended spot a friend told me about; Fishermen's Grotto. Once I arrived there, I knew it was smart to walk til the end and have my crab salad sandwich there; I mean look at that beauty!
How great does that look?! If you don't care for the quality of your sandwich, you can grab one of the first stall ones, but if you really want a great tasting crab salad sandwich, make sure to swing by Fishermen's Grotto!

Lombard Street
Man, was this an experience! Lombard Street is San Francisco, and America's, crookedest street! It is a 27-degree slope, which is a favorite place for tourist and residents to go for beautiful views of the city. The street also continues in both directions, pass the curves, all the way up towards Telegraph Hill and all the way down towards the Marina. This area is also known for some of the most expensive Real Estate in the city of San Francisco. On this beautiful street you can find wonderful condos, stately mansions, and gorgeous townhouses, that you usually wouldn't expect to find around a 'tourist-trap'. Now enjoy this wonderful pictures from our hike up!
This was our view looking up at the street. YIKES!
We made some progress, but it was taking FOREVER!
Felt like this steep hill was never going to end, but I was determined!
This was the view from the foot of Lombard St. FINALLY made it up.
Great shot of the crookedest street in America! The flowers, brick, and overall architecture was beautiful in this area.
How cute is this gate? I would definitely want something similar once I have a house, haha.
FINALLY - made it to the top of the street, geez!
"Isn't she lovely, Isn't she wonderful, Isn't she precious"
