That's right good people of the world, Los NewQuisqueyanos is at it again!
QUISQUEYA EN EL HUDSON 2010!!!
Due to construction happening at the usual location, Highbridge Park, this year's festival will take place at the Anne Loftus Playground in Fort Tryon Park on Broadway and Arden Street. You can take the A train to Dyckman St and walk towards the playground, you won't be able to miss it! It will take place on Sunday, July 11th 2010 from 1pm until 8pm.
Los NewQuisqueyanos have worked hard to bring this great event to the public for FREE!!! That's right ladies and gents; FREE! This year's festival will be special as it is being held in loving memory for Luis "Terror" Dias, who tragically left us last year on December 8th.
Now for those of you who aren't familiar or aware of what Quisqueya en el Hudson is:
Here's this year's line-up (in no particular order):It is an annual festival of Dominican Arts, Music and Dance. Every year they have a great number of performers come out and give a great show for the public at no cost! This year will be the 15th annual festival and we're looking at a great line-up of artist as usual!
