Two for One Burgers!

First and foremost, let me greet those lovely readers coming over from Colorful Mess - which happens to be my better half's blog (she stole my post and made it her own by posting this last week - ninja blogger!). If your into fashion, DIYs, and colorful messes, make sure to go give her blog a look!

Now, last week we went to one of our favorite Tuesday night spots; Copper Door Tavern. This lovely little bar has one of the best specials I've seen - Two for One Tuesdays! On Tuesday's until 9pm they offer two for one burgers! The best part being - these burgers are AMAZING! Check them out below:

Now, I usually get mine with cheddar and bacon (add $1 for the bacon) but they have an array of cheeses you can add, make sure to ask for your options.

I also get waffle fries as opposed to curly, but they had run out that particular day. Sucks, but didn't take away from the great meal.

Their burgers are truly one of the best in the area. Don't believe me? Go give them a try and report back. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

I mean, look at these pictures! Crispy bacon, melted cheese, burger cooked to perfection. What more could you ask for?

Oh, and don't let me forget the entire meal you see above (two orders of curly fries with two burgers with cheddar cheese and bacon with two beers) equaled a whopping $20 bucks INCLUDING tip!

Seriously people, where else can you get a meal like this for $20 bucks on a Tuesday night?!

Truly amazing burgers! Reason why I keep going back as often as possible! Definitely a happy customer!

Copper Door Tavern is definitely the place to be on a Tuesday night. If you want to give it a try, here's their information:

Since she's also posting pictures of me, figured I'd get one of her! HA! Here is my beautiful, smart, funny, and corky better half, The Colorful Mess!

Doughnut Plant NYC

A few weekends ago I finally made the trip down to Doughnut Plant. I learned about this wonderful place on Travel Channel's Doughnut Paradise.

What first caught my attention about this little shop, which is definitely one of NYC's many hidden secrets, was their unique doughnuts.

Their doughnuts are created fresh daily at their location and those with fillings are squared.

The reason they are squared is so you can have a taste of doughnut and filling with every bite! Genius I tell you!

Their doughnuts are also made with high quality all natural ingredients and have no trans fats, no preservatives, no artificial flavorings, and no eggs. Their glazes are also made with seasonal fresh fruit and fresh roasted nuts! You can't get much better quality then that!

If you do plan on swinging by to give it a try, make sure to go with time. There is usually a line that can last at the very least 10-15 minutes, but it is while worth it. TRUST me!! Definitely give this place an A+!!!
